Watch: 13 HOURS Red-Band and Green-Band Trailers

Michael Bay‘s Benghazi Movie

Paramount has revealed Red Band and Green Band trailers for Michael Bay‘s 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, based on the non-fiction book by Michtell Zuckoff about the dual 2012 attacks on American compounds in Libya.

The true Benghazi tale stars James Badge Dale, John Krasinski, Toby Stephens, Pablo Schreiber, Max Martini, David Denman, Dominic Fumusa, and Freddie Stroma.

The film, penned by Chuck Hogan, opens in theaters on January 15, 2016, coincidentally the same weekend that American Sniper debuted last year. [Plus it will be prime campaign time by then, which could mean the movie could have political ramifications because Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State when this deeply saddening event took place.]

Well, I think it’s safe to assume it’s gonna be about good guy American soldiers infiltrating, invading, and needlessly interfering with foreign affairs vs bad guy stereotyped savage Arab bad guys protecting their countries and trying to sort their own mess out by their own crazy ways. Just kidding! There is flying bullets, chaos, John Krasinski and of course explosions. Check out the Red Band version.

Looks like Zero Dark Thirty without nuance. For a Michael Bay movie this actually looks really good. I wonder where this will strike. Here’s the Green Band take.
