Watch ANT-MAN’s Trailer Teaser [UPDATED]
UPDATE: “I want you to break into a place and steal some stuff.” The new Ant-Man trailer is online now and you can watch it in the video below.
Marvel debuted Ant-Man‘s teaser during the 2015 MTV Movie Awards Sunday night – the full trailer will be online today.
Marvel Studios’ “Phase Two” capper serves as “a different kind of culmination of Phase Two because it very much is in the [Marvel Cinematic Universe],” says their top dog Kevin Feige in a recent chat with /Film.
“You meet new characters and you learn about Hank Pym and his lineage with the MCU over the years. But at the same time, it also picks up the thread of Age of Ultron in terms of heroes – major heroes, Avengers – coming from unexpected places. Whether it’s prison in the case of Scott Lang or being a very disgruntled Sokovian Twins as Wanda and Pietro are in Age of Ultron. And in that way it connects a lot.
Also, Hank Pym’s attitude towards Avengers, towards S.H.I.E.L.D, and kind of the cinematic universe in general, is much more informed after the events of Age of Ultron, and in a certain way, before the events of Civil War.”
Now with Avengers: Age of Ultron about to debut later this month, get ready for the onslaught of marketing for Marvel’s newest addition to the MCU.
The film opens July 17th, and stars Paul Rudd as Scott Lang and Michael Douglas as the brilliant inventor Hank Pym, along with Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Peña, Abby Ryder Fortson, David Dastmalchian, Wood Harris, Judy Greer, Gregg Turkington, T.I., and John Slattery.
Check out the teaser below, and come back later today for the full trailer.

UPDATE: The new trailer perhaps provides an answer if Marvel made a mistake splitting from the film’s original director Write over creative differences.

“The next evolution of the Marvel Cinematic Universe brings a founding member of The Avengers to the big screen for the first time with Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man.”
