Watch: Japanese Trailer for ‘The Whole Truth’ with Keanu Reeves

Watch Keanu Reeves attempting a southern accent in a verbose courtroom drama The Whole Truth as a defense attorney who fights to get his teenage client acquitted of murdering his wealthy father.

The upcoming drama thriller movie directed by Frozen River helmer Courtney Hunt also stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Renee Zellweger, Gabriel Basso, Jim Belushi, Kenneth Choi, Sean Bridgers and Erica McDermott, and will be released in Japan on March 25th, the same day as Batman v Superman: Down of Justice. No U.S. release date yet.

The film is based on a script by Oscar nominee Nicholas Kazan, but the trailer curiously credits Rafael Jackson. Check out the first international trailer and poster below.

The lead role in this flick was originally intended for Daniel Craig, yet he turned it down.
