Watch: Robin Williams in A MERRY FRIGGIN’ CHRISTMAS Trailer

Here’s the trailer for A Merry Friggin’ Christmas, one of Robin Williams’ four still-unreleased films the actor left behind when he passed away in August.

A holiday-themed comedy rounds up Joel McHale, Clark Duke, Oliver Platt, Candice Bergen and Lauren Graham for the bittersweet movie which gets a day-and-date release on November 7th, the same weekend Interstellar and Big Hero 6 plan wide releases.

Directed by Tristram Shapeero, the upcoming wacky holiday flick doesn’t seem like a comedic knock-out, but it may be worth a watch on VOD.

The clip features Williams playing Dad to Joel McHale during a very dysfunctional holiday reunion. His other films slated for release include Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb (December 19), his final vocal performance in Absolutely Anything (2015), and Boulevard (TBA).

A Merry Friggin’ Christmas follows Boyd Mitchler (Joel McHale) and his wife Luann (Lauren Graham) as they spend a dreaded Chrismas with Boyd’s father Mitch (Robin Williams) and his family of misfits. Upon realizing that he has left all of his son’s gifts at home, Boyd hits the road with his father and younger brother in an attempt to make the 8-hour round trip before sunrise.
