Abel Ferrara’s WELCOME TO NEW YORK Trailer

Abel Ferrara‘s latest film Welcome to New York, starring Gerard Depardieu and Jacqueline Bisset is set to premiere at Cannes on May 17 in a market screening, not in the official selection.

The film is bypassing a theatrical launch and will be heading to VOD in France in 10 days time.

Co-penned by Ferrara and Chris Zois, Welcome to New York toplines Depardieu as Mr Deveraux, who is “a man who handles billions of dollars a day, who controls the economic fate of nations, a man who dreamed of saving the world and cannot save himself.”

Bisset portrays his wife, Simone Deveraux.
