WONDER WOMAN Begins Shooting This Fall

According to Deadline, Gal Gadot will be suiting up for her solo outing as Wonder Woman later this year as production is set to begin this fall.

The news was revealed in the report on Gadot joining the cast of Greg Mottola‘s new comedy Keeping Up with the Joneses, and there is no further information about the project, which features a script by Jason Fuchs (Pan).

The Fast Furious actress will first appear as Wonder Woman in Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which hits theaters on March 25, 2016.

Directed by Michelle MacLaren (“Breaking Bad” and “The Walking Dead” episodes), Wonder Woman is set for release on June 23, 2017, The actress will then reprise the part for Justice League Part One, hitting theaters on November 10, 2017.

The Wonder Woman solo film will reportedly begin in the 1920s, and may skip through various time periods to show that Diana Prince doesn’t age. Moreover, Warner Bros. is planning a trilogy, revealing Themyscira’s first encounter with the outside world and Diana’s own experiences with “a USA that still had a lot to learn about equal rights.”

There’s a chance meeting some Golden Age heroes, like The Flash, Green Lantern , Hawkman, The Sandman, and so on. I’m just looking forward to it.
