X-MEN/FANTASTIC FOUR Crossover Coming in 2018?

20th Century Fox

LR has given some new life to the old rumor of a possible X-Men/Fantastic Four crossover. It’s actually not a sure thing, by any means, but many film websites and blogs spread news that LR has created so why the hell not.

However, according to the report, a crossover between the two is in the works for 2018. Of course, it largely depends on how Josh Trank’s Fantastic Four reboot is received. The premiere date is fast approaching (August 7, 2015) and the public response to the film thus far has been less than favorable.

But of course, if both X-Men: Apocalypse (May 27, 2016) as well as Fantastic Four do not tank at the box office, it couldn’t happen.

Not to mention that FF already has a sequel scheduled for June 9, 2017, Deadpool dropping on February 12, 2016 and Wolverine 3 coming out on March 3, 2017, so a Fantastic Four/X-Men crossover just likely isn’t a priority for Fox.

What do you think of the studio’s still undisclosed movie slated for July 13, 2018? Will Fox indeed unite the Fantastic Four and X-Men franchises? How would a crossover work? O Brother, Where Art Thou?
