‘You Were Never Really Here’ Trailer: Joaquin Phoenix Is a Tormented Enforcer

Amazon Studios’ Acclaimed Thriller

Amazon Studios has released a main United States trailer for the critically acclaimed thriller You Were Never Really Here.

Directed by Lynne Ramsay, and starring Joaquin Phoenix, the story follows a PTSD-addled veteran of the Gulf War and a former FBI agent who tracks down missing girls for a living, and the one assignment that rocks his world.

Based on the Jonathan Ames novella of the same name, the film also stars Judith Roberts, Ekaterina Samsonov, John Doman, Alex Manette, Dante Pereira-Olsen, and Alessandro Nivola. You Were Never Really Here opens in select theaters on April 6, 2018.
