Well uhm, I must admit that I’m not familiar with these guys. Just hope there’s a budget. The film is being directed by Dean Israelite, best known for his found footage time travel adventure Project Almanac, and based on the script written by Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz (X-Men: First Class) alongside Roberto Orci, who eventually stepped off the project.

Power Rangers will follow the same general plot as the show: a group of teenagers are given superpowers and team up to save the world with the help of their giant robot vehicles called Zords. The action fantasy movie will begin filming in January 2016 and is scheduled for release on January 13, 2017.
